Duties:
Coordinate with clients, experts, and other professionals to gather information and obtain necessary documents for legal writing projects.
Conduct legal research to gather relevant information and ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and precedents.
Draft and prepare legal memoranda, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, and other legal documents.
Review and analyze legal documents and contracts to identify potential legal issues, risks, and opportunities.
Summarize complex legal concepts and information into concise and understandable language for clients and other non-legal professionals.
Stay updated on changes in immigration laws, regulations, and precedents to ensure the accuracy and currency of legal writing.
Organize material and complete writing assignments in accordance with established standards of order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
Establish and maintain databases and filing systems to effectively manage and retrieve relevant information.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in law or related field required; law degree preferred; LLM and JD students are welcome;
1+ years of legal experience with corporate law or immigration law;
Fluent in mandarin;
Substantive understanding of legal requirements and supporting documentation for immigration filing;
Substantive understanding of startup fundraising processes, startup company mechanisms, mergers and acquisitions;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
